Playing Fetch

I’m testing out uploading a video from my phone.  Today we took Emma & Remy to the beach.  Much fun was had by all humans & canines.

Poor Kooky Chicken

We are in the middle of remodeling our bathroom and I haven’t had a minute to blog.  I do hope to be back soon.  I just noticed Emma killed off another Kooky Chicken.  She is such a beast!  She still loves her headless, armless, legless, tailless chicken.

Playtime

Remy went with us to my friend Tammy’s house today to play with her dog Sam.  Sam and Remy got along fine but the boys didn’t play as much as I expected.  Remy might be a little too much of a puppy for Sam.  Remy had a great time playing with the squeaky duck and rooster.  His 6 month birthday is next week and I think he just might be getting a little ducky friend to celebrate.

Please try to excuse my chatter, I was talking to my girlfriend while I was taping Remy play.  This might be a good post to mute.

Remy is keeping himself busy chewing up Emma’s Kooky Chicken and Daddy’s sandal.  Emma’s comes home tomorrow and I best she will be very happy to see her Kooky Chicken again.

Remy did such a stellar job eating that sandal a few days ago that Daddy gave both his sandals to him.  He is happy as a clam.

No time for much of a post today but I’ll be writing more when Emma comes home.  I’m excited to see her!

Remy is teething and he loves to play and chew.  We have been fortunate to only have a few non-toy casualties (Steve’s flip flop, an extension cord and a plastic dog dish).  I watch him very closely – he is so much like having a baby again.  The only real difference is that we don’t have sleepless nights and I don’t have to haul him around in a car seat.

Remy loves to play with rope toys but his absolute favorite toy is this $5 football from Foster and Smith.  The Soft Flex Balls are extremely durable,  they are puncture resistant and they are easy for both Remy and Emma to carry in their mouths.  When I bought this football I also bough a blue swirly ball that is no longer on the website.  Our blue swirly ball has disappeared – I suspect the kids lobbed it over our fence and forgot about it.  Bummer!

I highly recommend getting a Soft Flex Ball or two for your dogs.  I plan to buy the Bumpy Ball with my next Foster & Smith order.
